New Apple Stuff

As with any major Apple event and announcements, we turn to Jeff Richardson's legal-specific comments. I'm also adding in some other posts with information on the new Watch and the new subscription service, Apple One. Jeff is definitely impressed with the new fourth-generation iPad Air, writing, "It has a lot more in common with the current version of the 11" iPad Pro than it does the third-generation iPad Air that it replaces, and it will be a great device for many lawyers." In addition to the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple announced "a less-expensive alternative, the Apple Watch SE." How often do you hear "less expensive" in association with Apple products!? Down the rabbit hole

So Jean O'Grady post on Docket Navigator and outcome analytics caught my attention this morning. But then, as usually happens, another post caught my attention, which linked to another and well, yes, down the rabbit hole I went. I ended up on a post by Stephen Embry on whether it was he or Bob Ambrogi was the first one to ask whether it might be malpractice to not use legal data analytics in today's litigation world. Hiding your house

John Simek links to the instructions to hide your house in Google Maps. There are a multitude of reasons why this information might be useful to you. I put in the address to the new house we bought and saw an image of the house as it existed in July 2011. It showed an older gutter system, and differing landscape and other interesting differences.
