Can you hear AI now?
I haven't had time this morning to listen to the hour+ long podcast where Azeem Azhar talks to Kate Crawford, senior principal researcher at Microsoft Research and research professor of communication and science and technology studies at USC Annenberg but it is on my follow up list. They talk about the potential impact of AI, it's impact on hardware supply chains, why the AI industry should be subject to strict airline/pharma-style regulation and that tech leaders "should take a much greater responsibility for the social and environmental effects of technical systems."
