Braintrace Threat Report
Siloscape is a malware that targets Windows containers and is capable of breaking out of the container to provide attackers with persistent access through backdoors and thereby steal credentials. It achieves this by targeting known vulnerabilities in common cloud applications. This malware is heavily obfuscated and is difficult to detect and analyze with static code analyzers and traditional reverse-engineering techniques. Once a week, Braintrace's analysts create a report to update our clients on up-and-coming vulnerabilities and exploits that our security experts have discovered in the market. This week's report includes updates on PRINTNIGHTMARE Zero-Day, enterprise vulnerability from SMB worm attack, and much much more, including reference links, affected systems, patches, and suggested remediations.
