Super Podcasters

As a long time comic book geek, I was excited to learn that Greg Lambert and Joshua Lenon have a new "SuperHuman Law Division" Podcast. The inspiration is taken from, as you might guess, Disney+/MCU's newest show, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. I don't want to give away too much, but I think their first podcast is terrific! (And notice of spoiler alerts for She-Hulk if you do listen). Future podcasts will hopefully cover Daredevil, the Sokovia Accords, The Mutant & Super Human Registration Acts and maybe even Harvey Birdman! Hmmm imagine what a CIO at a lawfirm could do with access to tech from Stark Industries or Wakanda? Listen to and read more at 3 Geeks and a Law Blog: SuperHuman Law Division Podcast with Joshua Lenon and Greg Lambert

Giddiness and key truths

Doug Austin is back with more of his crowdsourced ILTACON observations. The comments that most resonated with me were: "Everyone was just so giddy to see each other face-to-face and exchange awkward hugs!" "It was so great to see everyone in person!" "Camaraderie cannot be fully duplicated virtually..."
In his post's subtitle, Joe Patrice noted a "Subtle shift in rhetoric from 'we can do these things' to 'we do these things' makes a lot of difference." I'm hoping I can get a chance to explore and follow up that difference with him. To all the volunteers and ILTA staff, I say take note of Joe's compliment, "Something about this once-a-year conference and its generalist portfolio - this isn't an eDiscovery show or a CLM show - always slowly reveals some key truths about the state of legal technology." Be sure to read more at:

Making Good 'Good Enough'

It took me a long while to learn Voltaire's message of not letting perfect be the enemy of the good. Given the major production I usually make of it, my wife might argue I still have more to learn when it comes to hanging pictures or shelves. Tanya Janca's post puts it in the context of security, but it is a lesson you can apply to every aspect of your work and business life. Read more at The EDGE: Don't Let 'Perfect' Be the Enemy of a Good AppSec Program
