Oh no, not Emu too!

Your sun sign is Gemini

Google , trying to keep up with OpenAI, released Gemini, which they hope will go head to head with rival GPT-4. It is multimodal (able to process text, code, images, and audio), and exceeds "current state-of-the-art results on 30 of the 32 widely used academic benchmarks used in large language model (LLM) research and development." A quick Google of Gemini also finds it to be "Playful and intellectually curious, Gemini is constantly juggling a variety of passions, hobbies, careers, and friend groups. They are the social butterflies of the zodiac: These quick-witted twins can talk to anyone about anything. Find them buzzing between happy hours, dinner parties, and dance floors." Your mileage may vary. Read more at ars technica: Google launches Gemini-a powerful AI model it says can surpass GPT-4

Da rules!

I was today years old when I found out from Stephen Abram that there was a rule book to being human (no one gave me a copy when I was born). According to Jason Kottke the rules were created a few decades ago (which might explain why I didn't get my own copy 60 years ago), by Cherie Carter-Scott. There are three rules I like that are tightly packed together: "You will be presented with lessons." "There are no mistakes, only lessons." and "A lesson is repeated until learned." I'm not so sure I believe in Rule #9, "Your answers lie inside of you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust." There are some questions I have asked that seem to have no answer what so ever. If you didn't know there were rules to being human, be sure to read more at KOTTKE.ORG: The 10 Rules of Being Human
