Leveling up your data governance game

Data governance has always been there. How much we pay attention to it has been evolving over time. Data sends to gets attention when switching products like financial systems, DMS or CRM. The penalties for bad data have also been rising. Jelani Harper writes "The paradox is that these undesirable results are juxtaposed with the limitless business value gained from disseminating organizational knowledge among users, departments, and organizations." Those firms with KM programs have spent time working and cleaning data. How good (or bad) your data is can be found easily by focusing the AI spot light on it. Thumbs Up = Contract accepted

Doug Austin follows up on the case where a thumbs up emoji was the center of a contract dispute for the sale of grain. A Canadian appellate court dismissed the appeal, "which meant that the thumbs-up emoji still constitutes contract acceptance." So be careful to who and where you flash a thumbs up! Hey Siri! Stop that!

Siri is an amazing tool and I expect it to get even better as it gains new features and access to artificial intelligence. I know that Siri can be dangerous and made to do bad things if its available to activate even when your iPhone or iPad is locked. " While I haven't experienced many accidental activations, clearly it is a thing. "Apple has agreed to pay $95 million to settle a class action lawsuit in the U.S. alleging that its Siri assistant recorded private conversations and shared them with third parties."
