Defragging, nervous systems and amplifying the flaws

Defragging a disk drive is easy. Under Disk Properties, under Tools is a simple "optimize" button. After reading Mark Dangelo's post, you'll realize defragging your data is not quite as easy. HE says that for continuous evolution, future-proof approach, you need to create a "digital nervous system." I love the reality of his conclusion, "AI promises instant decisions, predictive perfection, and the end of inefficiencies, but in reality, your data may be a hot mess. Legacy systems choke AI pipelines, biases creep into models, and broken processes just fail faster, not better. The secret? AI doesn't replace data strategy, instead it amplifies its flaws. So, if your foundation is weak, AI won't fix it, it will expose it faster." Be sure to read more at Thomson Reuters Blog: The silent AI killer: Why data fragmentation spells doom

Be a plumber

Mirko Zorz's post is all about understanding prompt leaks. Unless you already know all there is to know about data leakage risk, output-based prompt leaks, session memory leaks and prompt injections, you need to be a plumber and read more at HELPNETSECURITY: The quiet data breach hiding in AI workflows

Why Microsoft? Why?

I really don't understand why Microsoft continues to push forward with Recall. Matthew Broersma writes, "Microsoft moves step closer to general release of controversial AI Recall feature that stores comprehensive history of users' activities." One step forward - ten steps backward. Read or listen to more at Silicon: Microsoft Pushes Ahead With Launch Of 'Recall' AI Snapshots
