Jeff Brandt

Jeff Brandt started his career in the world of litigation support/eDiscovery. He has been a consultant, a vendor and the CIO for several top US law firms. He has worked on projects as diverse as: technology & business strategy, business intelligence, information governance, organizational development & design, change management, security, process innovation & improvement, budget management & cost control, strategic analysis & internal consulting, mobility, communities of practices, process and electronic workflow management, knowledge management, leadership & team building, training and mentoring and IT executive coaching.

He is a strategic executive with a proven ability to lead large scale change initiatives and drive business growth through integration of technology with the business and practice of law. With thirty years of experience in the field of legal automation, he has an established track record of effective IT leadership. He is an innovative problem solver and creative thinker with considerable experience implementing and managing change in diverse cultures.

He now works as the Chief Information Officer at Jackson Kelly PLLC in Charleston, West Virginia. Jeff is also the Editor of the popular PinHawk Legal Technology Digest (a daily aggregated newsletter with a circulation of about 16,000 legal and technology professionals), a respected thought leader in the legal technology community and frequent educational speaker at regional and national user, trade shows and industry conferences.

Sue Silverman

Sue Silverman is the Reference/Foreign, Comparative and International Law Librarian at New York University (NYU) School of Law. Prior to NYU, she was the Reference Librarian & Adjunct Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School.

Sue is co-director of the American Library Association Law for Librarians on Intellectual Freedom for 2026. She is the recipient of the Spirit of the American Association of Law Librarians, Foreign & Comparative International Law Special Interest Section (FCIL-SIS Award) in 2024 and Winner of the American Association of Law Librarians//LexisNexis Call for Papers: New Division in 2023.

Sue graduated magna cum laude with a JD from New York University School of Law, an MA in Library and Information Science from Queens College and a BA in Economics and Politics from New York University.

Ken Crutchfield

Ken Crutchfield is a business advisor, thought leader and aspiring author. Ken provides services through his Spring Forward Consulting practice with a focus on investors and start-ups in the legal tech and reg tech industries.

As part of his advisory work, he writes and speaks about legal technology, innovation, artificial intelligence and business strategy. On a personal level, Ken blogs about various topics. John DiGilio

John DiGilio is an internationally known information and intelligence professional, educator and award-winning author with more than 30 years of professional legal research and management experience in large and mid-size law firms, as well as corporations and academia. He currently directs the firmwide library and research services for an industry-leading, global law firm with more than 20 offices in North America, Europe and Asia.

John has authored numerous articles and research papers on law librarianship, legal research, team building and information ethics. He is a well-known industry blogger and social media influencer. John has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in business law, e-commerce, ethics, fair employment practices and applied research methodologies.

He is a recipient of the H.W. Wilson Award for Authorship and a former “Adjunct Teacher of the Year” at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA. John has been recognized with several SLA member awards, is a past treasurer and past president of the Association and an SLA Fellow. He was the recipient of the John Cotton Dana Award in 2026, the Association's highest honor. John also received the inaugural Distinguished Service Award from the University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information in 2025.

Kristin Calve

Kristin Calve is a serial entrepreneur with experience in startups, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, new product development and nonprofits as well as commercial and residential real estate. She has extensive experience in both traditional and new media, including executive positions at American Lawyer Media, The Deal and A&E/The History Channel. Her nonprofit experience includes multiple terms as President of the Board of Directors of the YWCA Darien/Norwalk.

Kristin graduated from Fordham University with a BA in English Literature and an MBA in Finance and Marketing. Kristin and her husband, Joe Calve, co-founded Law Business Media which operates in Stamford, CT. They reside in Darien, CT with their four children.
