Bad reviews
We live in an online world and look to reviews from our peers. Amazon is the first example I can think of. According to Larry Bodine, in today's world, "88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations" and as many as "83% of consumers use online review sites as the first step in searching for an attorney." Some people like to write funny reviews. However that doesn't justify purposely falsifying reviews like Pennsylvania law firm Kraemer Manes did. Fun and cheek reviews about Bic pens, Swiss Army knives or the plot of a childrens' book is one thing, outright and purposeful fraud is another. Red versus Blue
If you can, blue and red exercises are a good thing. But if you't got limited resources, then consider that this Black Hat USA 2019 survey "showed that 68% find red team exercises more effective than blue team testing, and more companies are practicing red over blue team testing." It seems that red over blue is the way to go. Read more at HELPNETSECURITY: Most IT pros find red team exercises more effective than blue team testing
