If you can't trust the experts....
That old adage of "not if you'll be breached, but when," was proved again, this time by Microsoft. They reported in a blog post, "that between 05 December 2019 and 31 December 2019, a database used for 'support case analytics' was effectively visible from the cloud to the world." Microsoft went on to note, "the vast majority of records were cleared of personal information." [TRANSLATION: some of the personal data in those 250 million customer records was missed in the automated cleaning.] Be sure to read more at nakedsecurity: Big Microsoft data breach - 250 million records exposed

Kudos to Wiley
.law domains were pretty much a bust when they were first introduced. Overly cautious firms reserved their names so no one else could get them, but they weren't really used. Kudos to the Wiley team for jumping in with both feet with their rebranding. I totally agree with Robert Algeri's comment on the .com "muscle memory," but I think with the right client education, it can be overcome. The security benefits alone of moving to .law are significant. .law domains are harder to get and therefore harder to spoof. The older legacy issues will continue to follow them as they run all their .com emails and such in tandem with the new .law, but once they jettison that, their position will solidify. A teachable moment
"Microsoft has announced that they will install a new Google Chrome extension for some Office 365 ProPlus customers that will force the browser to use Bing as the default search engine 'to access relevant workplace information directly from the browser address bar.'" I would sum up the Twitter, Reddit, and GitHub feedback by simply saying, Dick move Microsoft. Apparently Firefox is slated to get the same treatment. It'll takes a tech village
I thought Matthew Rosenquist did an excellent job expanding on the title of his post. He writes, "Artificial intelligence - more specifically, the machine learning (ML) subset of AI - has a number of privacy problems." His conclusion is spot on. Take some time and read more at HELPNETSECURITY: There is no easy fix to AI privacy problems

Aim higher - reduce your goals
If you're a goal oriented person and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the number of goals you have or the lack of "meaningful progress" you're making on any of them, then this post by Dorie Clark is for you. She writes, "by taking a step back to evaluate your goals and determine which is most important to focus on right now, you can make targeted, demonstrable progress that facilitates your long-term ambitions."
